Its motto: "Traditional, competitive, therapeutic and martial" encompasses its approach to Tai Chi Chuan, a complete, humanistic approach. It was founded and is directed by Salomón Bernardo Vinitsky, Master Lalo, disciple of 馬存坤 Master Ma Tsun Kuen, who taught a branch of the Yang style.
The Association further evolved into a 聖保羅太極拳聯盟 Federation of like-minded schools and associations in the Brazilian state of São Paulo.
