終南別業

中歲頗好道，
晚家南山陲。
興來美獨往，
勝事空自知。
行到水窮處，
坐看雲起時。
偶然值林叟，
談笑無還期。

Midway on my life's journey I believed in the Tao.
Now that I am old I dwell near mountains green.
I wander there alone whenevere in the mood,
Amid the beauty that is all for me.
Sautering along till the end of the brook,
I take a rest and watch the clouds appear.
Casually encountering an old neighbour,
I forget to return, chatting in good cheer.
